how to locate the marriage registration offices in chennai.all are confusing me.tell me the truth.

A.jurisdiction for Hindu marriage:-
1.place of residence for husband
2. place of residence for wife
3.place of marriage
you can register your marriage in above three jurisdiction.

B.jurisdiction for compulsory marriage :-''
only place of marriage is the jurisdiction for compulsory marriage registration.you have to register your marriage compulsorily within three months from the date of marriage.after three months ,within two months you can register your marriage with fine.

C.jurisdiction for Special marriage :-''
only present dwelling place is the jurisdiction for Special marriage registration.

registration of marriage and registration of property is same
